Measuring and testing equipment for top quality requirements

Quality is Grohmann's top priority. In order to ensure that the components satisfy the highest standards, cutting edge measuring and test equipment is used.

The casting processes and results are checked using thermal analysis, low pressure tightness testing, spectral analysis, sand laboratory tests, section analysis and microscopy.

The Grohmann experts determine the physical properties of the aluminium cast parts using X-ray testing, fluorescent dye tests, tensile testing, hardness tests, density tests and residual contaminant analysis. Available to them for taking the measurements are both optical scanners and 3D measuring machines.
