Cast forging
The Upper Swabian company Uhlmann GmbH in Uttenweiler near Biberach has been producing aluminum castings using this special process since 1999. With state-of-the-art technology and highly motivated employees, high-strength and dimensionally accurate components are produced from various aluminum alloys.
Cast forging is particularly suitable where die castings cannot meet the quality requirements, or where sand and gravity die castings are too imprecise or have too rough a surface.
In addition, cast forging is suitable for the production of composite materials by infiltration of porous fiber or particle moldings, or by casting in steel or brass parts.
